I’ve only been a few times and it can feel daunting with all the machines/weights but the instructor is there to help you and people taking the class are friendly too :)

The rooms are private and very relaxing, and each one has a tablet where you can watch Netflix. There’s also a timer in the room that you start before getting into the sauna. The session lasts 45 minutes, and if I could do anything differently as a first-timer, I would take a few short breaks during the session instead of staying in the entire time.

It helps that I called ahead of time to have them raise the temperature of the cold plunge so I could get the maximum benefits, but it’s also worth noting that the female attendees were much more helpful and considerate of my current state (being impaired on crutches) than the male attendants were. If you’re like me and need extra time to shower after, I would recommend booking an hour for yourself. Will be back to book another session ASAP.
