Voir tous les avisThis was a really great class. Lauren instantly made me feel welcome and inquired about any injuries. I really loved her way of talking through the class and the poses were great. My lower back & mind both felt soooo good leaving this class. Only thing I would have changed is there is no shade on the door to the hallway. Especially for a candlelight class it would be nice to have that light at least filtered. Also the blanket was mildewy so might be time for a deep wash! Studio is so cute, all the staff I encountered were lovely. Will definitely be back.

It was a dance workout with strength training at the end. The song mix was great too. Laurie suggested a modification on a move for me before class, and she accommodated me by setting the volume of the microphone to a comfortable level ... I would like to go back.

It was low stress, the instructor was wonderful, and the choreography wasn’t too difficult to follow along with. I was nervous going in, but Michaela put me at ease and it felt like a safe space for a beginner. She has a great teaching style that’s both lively and calm. I’ll definitely go back!

I went without a partner which worked out because we rotate anyways. This was my first salsa on 2 class and it was a blast. They also had munchkins which was such a cute little thing. The instructor created a really relaxing environment with soft lighting and calming music, which made it easy to unwind and focus on breathing. I appreciated how they encouraged us to listen to our bodies and not push too hard. It felt more about recovery and mindfulness than performance. I’d definitely consider going again and would recommend it to anyone looking for something low-impact and restorative style of yoga.

There’s plenty of space to accommodate the many dancers (kids to young adults mainly) & a large mirror to dance to. The instructor is high energy & very willing to answer questions. They have workshops to the same song Tuesdays & Thursdays weekly, but it might benefit to go to Tuesday classes 1st as Thursday classes are meant to quickly learn the choreography AND learn formation in groups (~4 dancers maybe depending on the dance). I did my homework by trying to learn the routine on my own & still struggled a bit attending just a Thursday class, so I can’t imagine how I would’ve been going into Thursday class brand new. Tuesday class learns just the choreography first is what it seems, so would recommend to do both sessions when possible . Still very fun though!

Annalisa is new to teaching but she really knows her stuff; I appreciate all the thought and planning that goes into the class, from warmup, to drills, to practicing our samba, to choreography, and the music selection is always fun and varied. I’m excited to see how her class develops over time. It’s a great place to have fun and meet cool women. Highly recommend!
